Essential Job Functions:
• Assist with the development and implementation of the marketing objectives and strategies for Monster Energy (Original, Ab Zero, Lo Carb, Assault, Maxx) that drive consumer engagement and loyalty.
• Act as liaison with cross functional team members to ensure business initiatives receive necessary focus. Ex: Sales Ops, Customer & Field Marketing, New Product Development, Sports Marketing, etc.
• Work closely with the sales organization to ensure corporate marketing objectives are met and that strategies are effectively implemented.
• Assists the Sr. Manager of Brand Marketing in cultural development, promotions and key partnerships to execute culturally relevant marketing plans.
• Develop sales and marketing materials including creation of copy for consumer facing POS, website and other editorial platforms.
• Ensure product development projects are moving forward on schedule, from ideation to commercialization.
• Assist in overall media planning, media partnerships, and 360 media planning pertaining to major project ownership e.g. Multicultural, College, etc.
• Work with creative agencies or other third-party partnerships in the development and implementation of marketing strategies, gaining maximum value from marketing and promotional expenditures.
• Manage the development and execution of key national promotions. Work with CMM and Sales organization to expand on existing national promotions or develop promotions that help to drive incremental business for Monster Energy.
• Manage budget, marketing, and promotional spending for assigned project responsibility.
• Research competitor offerings and react when appropriate. This includes: evaluating data and market trends that impact the business as well as competitor promotions, lifestyle programs and sales trends.
• Articulate and present compelling presentations at selected high level meetings, regional sales meeting and as needed throughout the year both internally and externally.
• Support Sr. Manager of Brand Marketing in leading development of annual brand strategy and marketing objectives.
Culturally aware and able to understand unique aspects of marketing to groups with diverse needs and preferences
• Work closely with Music & Cultural Marketing to develop cross-functional marketing plans that drive brand awareness and retail demand.
• Administration duties include, but are not limited to, submitting graphics job tickets, submitting contracts, processing invoices, establishing new vendors and leading backend fulfillment, etc.
• Other duties as needed assigned by Sr. Manager of Brand Marketing.
