This position will be responsible for development and execution of integrated product marketing programs and messaging for Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile compute initiatives targeting the commercial segment, including both SMB and Enterprise. This role requires a technical understanding of the mobile compute space including various operating systems, commercial hardware and software differentiators, security, and the ability to apply Snapdragon platform advantages vs. competitors.  It also requires the ability to translate that technical understanding into the development of B2B messaging, marketing content, creative assets, and campaign plans that resonate, drive awareness and build long-term targeted marketing programs with target audiences.  

The ideal candidate will have technical and integrated product marketing experience to drive the development of marketing communications strategy, messaging and campaigns for key audiences including industry influencers (bloggers, press/media and technical analysts), OEMs and ODMs (manufacturers), telecom operators, and most importantly SMBs and Enterprises (C level, IT Pros, IT Decision makers, and IT administrators) areas of mobile computing products such as PCs, tablets, notebooks, and 2-in-1 laptops.

The Product Marketing Sr. Manager must have experience creating and delivering compelling product demonstrations, presentations and content, and driving ecosystem initiatives. It is also important to have experience with partner relationships for collaboration on joint marketing programs, content, events, and demos.


Responsibilities include:

  • Primary responsibility for product marketing content development and execution of go-to-market product marketing programs and initiatives.

  • Developing product messaging platform, use cases, white papers and other content that articulates our technology value proposition, product and competitive positioning statements;

  • Develop marketing plans including maintaining project calendars, identifying when/where/how key product and technology messages are rolled out throughout the year based on road map/key device launches; working directly with PR/editorial/social media content calendars to drive message synergy and working with channel and sales teams in support of account based marketing programs;

  • Development and leadership of targeted marketing content and initiatives including, contracting and managing appropriate agencies, managing budgets, driving engagement with product management, business development, and sales, coordination with leadership and providing guidance to staff and agencies supporting the program.

  • Partner with product management, business development, sales, and competitive analysis team to develop proof points/facts/benchmark plan that supports the product and messaging key product initiatives and arms customer-facing teams with compelling, targeted marketing material.

  • Understanding the marketplace, the needs/desires of the market for our products, and what the competition is doing.  Determines opportunities for our product and develops/implements strategies for penetration into market.

  • Conducts competitive product analysis and synthesizes market research; evaluates sales performance, formulates and reviews corporate long-range plans, goals, objectives for specific product areas, monitors competitive activity, identify customer needs. 

  • Provides persuasive presentations to customers and partners to implement product positioning strategies. 

  • Collaboration across business development, sales, product management, marketing communications, and regional marketing organizations to execute marketing plans in line with business goals


Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience in the following areas required:

  • PC or Mobile/wireless and/or related industry experience

  • Technical and project/program management skills

  • B2B marketing experience to small business and/or enterprise segments


Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years marketing experience in high-tech industry including account-based marketing

  • Cellular standards, wireless and core network infrastructure and operator experience.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to work with a dynamic team environment.

  • Effective relationship building and influencing skills.

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work and lead in a highly collaborative team environment, building alignment and - consensus across product management, business development, sales and senior management

  • Broad experience in producing high impact business-to-business marketing communications, including conferences/trade shows, channel programs, digital marketing and social media

  • Experienced in collaborating across functional teams to drive and execute integrated marketing programs and account-based marketing

  • Self-starter, must be resourceful, and able to effectively operate in a complex, fast-paced environment


Education Requirements

    Required: Bachelor's, Marketing or equivalent experience
    Preferred: Master's, Marketing or equivalent experience
